The formula, exactly

MKT = (ΔH/R) ÷ (−ln( Σ e−ΔH/(R·Ti) ⁄ n )), temperatures in kelvin, R = 8.3144 J·mol⁻¹·K⁻¹, ΔH = 83.144 kJ/mol as standardised in USP General Chapter <1160> (Haynes' derivation). MKT weights warm periods more than an arithmetic mean — which is exactly why stability and cold-chain excursions are assessed with it.

Readings must be at equal time intervals (loggers do this by default). Excursion disposition remains a quality decision under your procedures.
